Key responsibilities in your new role:
- Source and buy a range of materials, ensuring all materials are on site and on time to ensure all jobs are completed on time
- Frequently liaise and develop relationships with key suppliers to negotiate best price & lead times
- Raise purchase requisitions & purchase orders
- Track deliveries to ensure all materials arrive on time
- Ensure accurate procurement records on the internal management system
- Frequently liaise with the Finance Team on invoicing, pricing, payment queries etc
What you will need to succeed:
- A minimum of 3 years experience working in a fast paced, procurement role
- Relevant 3rd level qualification or equivalent experience in procurement, supply chain, or business
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications especially Excel, as well as ERP/MRP systems
- Good commercial awareness and ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers
