Business Development Manager – Food Sales (Northern Ireland)
Location: Northern Ireland (Field-based)
Full-time | Permanent
Up to £50,000 per annum
Due to continued business growth and expansion, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to join a family-run business in Northern Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in food sales to take ownership of a Northern Ireland territory, driving both B2B and select retail sales, while managing and developing existing client accounts.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify and secure new business opportunities within the food sector, focusing primarily on B2B channels including food-service, hospitality, wholesalers, and distributors.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing retail clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Develop tailored proposals and presentations to win new business.

Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching to closing and on boarding.

Work closely with the operations teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:

Proven track record in a sales role, ideally within the food industry

Strong network across the Northern Ireland food and retail landscape is highly desirable.

Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Self-starter with a results-driven approach and the ability to work independently.

Comfortable managing accounts as well as actively developing new business.

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout Northern Ireland.
