Our clients span industrial, logistics, hospitality, retail, and public-sector environments, and we’re known for delivering structured cabling, enterprise Wi-Fi, and smart connectivity solutions that work on time, first time, every time.

Financially strong and built on reputation, we are entering an exciting new growth phase focused on expanding our private-sector footprint and building recurring support contracts.

The Opportunity

This is a key role in driving our next chapter. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Business Development Manager will lead the charge in identifying, securing, and growing commercial opportunities across our core services.

You’ll join a small, focused leadership team and work closely with both technical and operational colleagues to deliver profitable, long-term client partnerships.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and grow Intouch’s client base within private and commercial sectors.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting through to signed proposals.
  • Build long-term, trust-based relationships that generate repeat business.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Stay informed on networking, Wi-Fi, and smart-building technology trends.
  • Represent Intouch professionally and uphold our reputation for quality and reliability.

What We’re Looking For

  • Industry Background: Networking, connectivity, Wi-Fi, or technology infrastructure (not electrical contracting).
  • Experience: 5+ years in technical sales, business development, or account management.
  • Core Skills: Prospecting, relationship building, solution selling, and commercial acumen.
  • Technical Understanding: Structured cabling, Wi-Fi systems, and IP-based technologies (CCTV, access control desirable).
  • Personal Traits: Reliable, proactive, detail-oriented, and takes ownership.
  • Mindset: Long-term relationship builder who values service quality over quick wins.
  • Culture Fit: Practical, straightforward, and accountable, thriving in a small, high-performance team.

Why Join Us

  • Strong £1.8M recurring and repeat revenue base with huge growth potential.
  • Established client portfolio and high-quality delivery team.
  • Marketing support budget and operational infrastructure already in place.
  • Direct access to the Managing Director and clear progression as the business scales.

Success in this role looks like:

  • £400K-£500K in new project revenue within 12 months.
  • £25K-£50K in new annualised support contracts.
  • 6 – 8+ new direct clients onboarded.
  • 6 – 8+ active contractor partnerships established.
