Hours: 37.5 per week
Salary Banding: £30,000-40,000 OTE per annum
ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Business Development Consultant you will be at the forefront of our growth strategy, playing a pivotal role in expanding our presence and fostering client relationships within the Enniskillen and Omagh market. You will be responsible primarily for developing sales of the government-funded ApprenticeshipNITraining Programme to Employers within your designated area.
Networking and participating in industry events will be integral to expanding our presence and establishing meaningful partnerships. Working collaboratively with the leadership team, you will contribute to the overall strategic vision of the organisation.

We offer government-funded training programmes Skills for Life & Work and ApprenticeshipsNI; as well as private and corporate training. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends
- Client Acquisition: Develop and implement effective strategies to acquire new clients, building and maintaining strong relationships with local employers to drive business growth
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and execute strategic business development plans aligned with organisational goals
- Proposal Development: Prepare compelling proposals and presentations, showcasing our value proposition and unique training services
- Networking: Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand the company’s presence and foster partnerships
- Client Retention: Work closely with existing clients to understand their evolving needs, ensuring high satisfaction levels and identifying opportunities for upselling
Qualifications / Experience:
Minimum Level 2/GCSE English and Maths qualifications
Proven experience as a Business Development Consultant
Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and client needs
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain successful client relationships
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
