Are you a qualified accountant with a passion for partnering with the business to drive performance? Airbus is looking for a proactive and commercially minded Business Controller / Management Accountant to join our Belfast team. This is your chance to work at the heart of a £4bn organisation, supporting strategic decisions and shaping financial outcomes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process across business units, ensuring alignment with Airbus’ financial goals.
- Partner with operational managers to evaluate and support performance improvement projects and investment proposals.
- Deliver insightful financial reporting and analysis to highlight risks, opportunities, and performance trends.
- Provide financial challenge and support to help teams meet their targets and drive continuous improvement.
- Contribute to controlling activities across recurring costs, inventory, non-recurring costs, and CapEx.
What We’re Looking For
- CIMA qualified (or equivalent) with at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience in a manufacturing or commercial setting.
- Strong experience with SAP or similar financial systems.
- A confident communicator who can influence stakeholders at all levels – locally and internationally.
- A team player with a continuous improvement mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
