We are looking for someone with accountancy experience to join a dynamic and progressive team in Newcastle. In this key role, youll manage financial operations, maintain accurate records, and support compliance and reporting requirements.

About You:
- Experience in accounting or finance, including reconciliations, VAT, payroll, and general bookkeeping
- Strong communication and client engagement skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software, with training provided where needed
- Able to work independently, manage workload, and meet deadlines
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and quick to learn new systems and processes

Preparation of accounts jobs

Bank reconciliations

VAT returns and CIS returns

Preparation of wages calculations

Bookkeeping and reconciling

Preparation of ad hoc letters and reports

Assisting with larger accounting projects alongside qualified staff

Learning new processes and contributing ideas to improve workflows
