Bike Redistributor
Location: Belfast
Belfast Bikes operates the city’s public bike hire scheme, with over 400 bikes across 60+ docking stations.
We are looking for an energetic Bike Redistributor (Driver) to join our busy service team and help keep Belfast moving sustainably!
About the role:
As a Redistributor, you will be on the move throughout Belfast, ensuring bikes are available where they are needed most. You will collect, redistribute, and maintain bikes using our app-based software, and play a key role in keeping the system running smoothly.
This is a part time role, 20h/week.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collect and redistribute bikes across Belfast using company vehicles.
- Replace e-bike batteries and ensure stations are well stocked.
- Report and collect damaged or vandalised bikes for repair.
- Return repaired and recharged bikes to stations.
- Carry out daily inspections of docking stations.
- Support operational jobs and occasional station installations.
What we are looking for:
- Valid UK driving licence (minimum 2 years’ driving experience).
- Confident driving long wheelbase vehicles.
- Good understanding of Belfast city layout.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Physically able to lift up to 25kg.
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently.
