Position Statement:
As Bar Tender you will be responsible for:
- The delivery of exceptional service and guest experience within the bar areas throughout the resort.
- Greeting and seating guests with a warm and professional welcome on arrival and throughout their stay.
- Prioritising tasks to ensure that our guests’ expectations are exceeded.
- Ensuring the bar and tables are cleared and set for service quickly and efficiently.
- Taking orders and serving food and drinks in a timely fashion.
- Making cocktails and preparing drinks orders as required.
- Assisting with large conference and banqueting functions, including weddings.
- Stock rotation and setting the bar up for service.
- Assiting with stock take as required.
- Ensuring the bar areas, fixtures and fittings are tidy and clean at all times.
What you will need (Essential Criteria):
- Previous bar experience.
- Guest focused approach with a passion to deliver excellent guest service
- Ability to work under pressure within a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High standards of attention to detail.
Desirable Criteria
- Previous Hotel experience.
- Previous conference and banqueting experience.
- Cocktail making experience.
