We are working with a leading national firm based in Belfast who are looking for an Associate to join their Banking and Finance team.
The Role:
The successful candidate will join a dynamic and esteemed team, advising on a range of challenging commercial banking matters, such as debt securities, asset finance lending, large-scale securities, and funds. The candidate will work with the team across a variety of sectors, including corporate, commercial, real estate, employment, and disputes.
The candidate will advise a broad spectrum of domestic and international financial institutions, such as banks, investment managers, investment funds, and insurance companies. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to contribute to business development while managing client relationships.
Essential Criteria
- 2+ PQE;
- Strong background in banking/financial services law;
- Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness;
- Outstanding academics;
- Technically excellent;
- Negotiation skills;
- Willingness to become involved in business development;
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
