Title: Business Analyst / Project Manager

A leading global financial institution is seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Project Manager to support a key control remediation and data quality initiative within their front/middle office environment.
The Role:
You will play a critical role in enhancing a recently implemented semi-automated control, focusing on refining exception handling, analysing large data sets, and improving operational procedures. You will also collaborate closely with tech and business teams to deliver control enhancements and produce key governance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:

Review and categorise control exceptions and data anomalies

Translate findings into actionable insights and improvement plans

Draft requirements for system/process enhancements

Work with technology teams to implement and test control changes

Deliver reports and metrics for governance and stakeholder use

Support documentation and BAU process transition
Skills & Experience Required:
-
Strong Excel and SQL (Python/Power BI advantageous)

Demonstrated ability to analyse and manage large data sets

Experience in a middle or front office, or 1st line control function

Exposure to regulatory projects (e.g., EMIR, MiFID II, UMR) beneficial

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
