Automation Engineer job in the Lurgan area for one of the most successful manufacturing companies in the area who develop their people through their careers within the company. They have invested in new equipment, process and product launch and their automation team are so important to the reliability and future proofing of this impressive plant.
Your new role
Working with a dedicated team of 7 skilled engineers, you are designing and planning improvements to equipment and process to match in with the factory ERP system but also looking at improvements and reliability to the existing plant. This is a hands-on and very diverse role where you will have a remit to ‘get it done’. This site has a really strong level of automation, and they are driving forward all the time to finite detail, and you’ll need a natural interest in this ongoing education and improvement.
What you’ll need to succeed
Related qualification and evident experience in PLC programming and HMI interface management. With an understanding that the gal is everything in the factory speaks to each other you should have some exposure to such works or projects, specifically in production and robotics.
