You will work as part of a dynamic and innovative team across a diverse portfolio of public sector clients. As an Auditor in NIAO your work will inform and shape key decisions and long-term changes across the public sector in Northern Ireland. Essential Criteria: 1. At the closing date for applications you must be able to demonstrate one of the following: Have current membership of one of the institutes listed below; OR That you are awaiting full membership of one of the institutes listed below; OR That you have passed final exams and be on track to meet the experience requirements within 3 months of your date of commencement, for one of the institutes listed below. – Chartered Accountants Ireland; – The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland; – The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales; – The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants; – The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants; – The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy; – The Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland. 2. Demonstrate at least 1 years experience in auditing financial statements.. 3. Demonstrate how you obtained knowledge of current auditing methodology and standards. 4. Demonstrate how you have obtained knowledge of current accounting methodology and standards. 5. Hold a full UK driving licence (or equivalent) and access to a car OR have access to a form of transport that will enable you to meet the mobility needs of the post?
