About the Position
Title: Assistant Tax Analyst (Industry)
Department: Global Business Services (GBS)
Reports to: Indirect Tax Lead
Location: Lurgan, Northern Ireland
Position Overview
The GBS Indirect Tax Team provide indirect tax compliance, accounting and advisory support to Terex globally. The Indirect Tax Analyst will be part of a dedicated team within Terex’s shared service organization. They will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of VAT compliance as well as gaining experience in global indirect tax advisory and accounting.

Responsibilities
- Management of indirect tax compliance for Terex companies globally.
- Management of tax authority audit and queries.
- Work with the business to understand and support any business initiatives and associated change impacts from requirements through to successful implementation to ensure indirect tax compliance and accurate reporting.
- Maintain a robust control environment and liaise with internal and external audit, responding to their requests for information.
- Drive continuous improvement to indirect tax processes, including being involved in the delivery of automation projects and ensuring that indirect tax processes are up to date and documented.
- Prepare and deliver indirect tax training to GBS and the wider business.
Required Level of Education
- A Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related subject. (Desirable)
Preferred Experience Level
- 1-2 years tax experience. (Would consider someone who has worked in Tax during placement or apprentice level)

Travel
- Ability to travel occasionally to meet business objectives.
