We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager for our public sector client in Ballymena, This full- time role offers an immediate start, a competitive rate of £19.10 per hour, standard working hours of Monday to Friday, 9am5pm, and the opportunity for hybrid working following the induction period. Temporary role lasting 3-6 months with possible extensions.
Job duties:
- Support the delivery and rollout of a new system in the Finance Directorate and across the organisation.
- Ensure governance arrangements are in place and maintain Project Risk and Issue Logs.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and resources, taking corrective action as needed.
- Develop project plans, produce reports, and coordinate with managers to avoid duplication.
- Support updates to Trust policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, and partners.
- Represent the Trust in relevant forums and support project evaluations and lessons learned.
- Manage staff to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
What We Need From You
- HND or equivalent recognised qualification.
- 3 years recent relevant experience.
