MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting an Assistant Production Manager for our client, who is one of Northern Ireland’s most respected and long-established food producers.
You will help ensure optimal production, maximum efficiency, and the highest standards of quality, food safety, and hygiene.
As the Assistant Production Manager you will:
- Support daily operations to deliver consistent, high-quality production.
- Schedule production efficiently to meet demand.
- Monitor and maintain product quality, food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Optimise performance – minimise downtime, maximise throughput and efficiency.
- Support planned maintenance and assist in troubleshooting plant breakdowns.
- Prepare weekly and monthly production reports.
You will have:
- Experience in food manufacturing or food production.
- Level 3 qualification (e.g. Degree/HND in Food Science, Food Technology, or Food Safety & Quality).
- At least 1 year’s experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor
