A well-established and forward-thinking food production business based in Loughgall is seeking an Assistant Production Manager to join its growing team. Your new role
As Assistant Production Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the production facility. Working closely with the Production Manager, you’ll help oversee production schedules, ensure quality standards are met, and lead a team to achieve performance targets. You’ll be involved in monitoring KPIs, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership and organisational skills. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 5:30pm.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a supervisory or management position within a food production or manufacturing environment. Strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to motivate and lead a team are essential. A good understanding of production processes, health and safety standards, and continuous improvement methodologies will be highly beneficial.
