Assistant Accountant – Warrenpoint
MCS Group are delighted to be working with a leading FMCG organisation in Warrenpoint to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join a dynamic finance team.
The Company:
A well-established, family-run FMCG manufacturer based in Warrenpoint, specialising in fresh and frozen food-to-go products. The business employs over 300 staff and supplies major retail and food service clients across Ireland, the UK, and Europe, with a multi-million-pound turnover and strong growth trajectory.
The Rewards:
As the successful Assistant Accountant, you will receive the following:
- Salary up to £32,000
- On-site parking

The Role:
As the successful Assistant Accountant, you will be reporting to the Head of Finance and will be responsible for the following duties:
- Support the preparation of management reports and monthly accounts
- Prepare monthly and annual subsidiary accounts
- Assist with grant administration and compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate VAT and regulatory returns
- Support additional tasks and projects as required by the management team.
The Person:
The successful Assistant Accountant will meet the following criteria:
- Well-rounded accounts experience.
- Organised individual with a great eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills.
