Assistant Accountant/ Part Qualified Accountant- Portadown
Reed Recruitment is working with a very successful, and well known, organisation based in the Portadown Area.
Due to continuous growth, our client is keen to recruit an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Offering a competitive salary, and the opportunity to work within a supportive accounting team, the successful applicant will be responsible for completing the following duties:
- Assisting with month end duties, P & L and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Preparation and posting of journals
- Purchase and sales ledger invoice processing
- VAT Returns
- Intercompany reconciliation
- General accounting duties required for the successful running of the accounts department
The ideal candidate:
- Part Qualified Accountant or Accounting Technician
- 2+ years’ experience within a similar role
- IT Proficient
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as on own initiative
