Position: Assembly / Warehouse Operative
Location: Belfast
Duration: 12 weeks temp – perm
Rate of Pay: £12.90 – £13.90 per hour depending on experience
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5pm
Duties will include (but not be limited to):
- Assembling components to defined standards and processes
- Good level of dexterity and familiarity of basic assembly processes
- Inspecting components for defects and reporting to Team Leader
- Completing assembly related paperwork and ensuring a high level of detail
- Use of power tools including; bench drill, abrasive wheel
- Troubleshooting and resolving assembly issues
- Following instructions and departmental safety procedures
- Keeping work area clean and organized
- Documenting work progress and reporting any issues
- Working with other team members
- Generate & maintain work/assembly & picking schedules for stores
- Assist with intercompany departments as necessary.
- Any other duties as necessary.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous assembly or production experience
- Excellent communication & teamwork skills
- Ability to use own initiative & follow instructions
Desirable Criteria:
- Forklift licence
