Livestock Team Member – Bull Management & Husbandry
We are looking for passionate and driven individuals to join our livestock team. This is a hands-on role, central to bull management, semen collection, and the day-to-day care of our animals. You will play a key part in meeting production targets while working with innovative technologies designed to enhance bull performance.
It is essential that applicants have experience working on a farm with livestock – particularly cows and bulls. Full training will be provided
- Full time: 7-day rota usual working hours 0800-1630 (weekend hours are shorter)

- £12.89 p/h – (different rate of pay at weekends)
Key Responsibilities
- Daily handling of bulls for general management and semen collection
- Carrying out livestock husbandry tasks including feeding, bedding, footbathing, clipping, and washing
- Maintaining high standards of animal health, welfare, and biosecurity
- Recording livestock data such as feeding, health monitoring, and behaviour
- Operating farm machinery for feeding, bedding, and cleaning
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring cleanliness of the facility
- Complying with all health, safety, and biosecurity protocols
- Supporting the wider team with additional duties as required
Essential Skills
- A strong team player who values collaboration and high standards
- Motivated, proactive, and open to continuous improvement
- Experience in livestock handling is essential; bull handling or semen collection experience is an advantage
- Committed to animal welfare, biosecurity, and health & safety
- Confident in recording animal data; experience with agri-tech is desirable but full training will be provided
- A full, clean driving licence is required
- Experience with agricultural machinery is desirable
Additional Information
This role is based on a 7-day rota, including weekends and public holidays. Time and a half and double rates apply
