MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with an organisation based in Castlewellan who are seeking to recruit an Accounts Technician on a full time, permanent basis.
The Company:
This organisation have a very well established finance team, they are currently seeking an additonal head due to continued growth
This role will be great for someone who has any accountancy experience, keen to get well rounded exposure and progress within their career. Study support will be offered as well as great finance experience within the role.
Your New Role:
Reporting to the Finance Director job duties include:
- Production of weekly management accounts to strict timelines
- Financial reporting: Help prepare financial statements, profit/ loss, VAT returns
- Reconciling accounts: Reconciling financial ledgers and verifying bank deposits and payments
- Verifying expenses: verifying company expenses and reporting discrepancies to senior management
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Supporting the wider finance team- other duties outlined on the job description
What You Need to Succeed?
- Previous accounts experience
- Desire to succeed and progress
- Excel experience
- Strong communicator
