Role Title: Accounts Payable Administrator
Reporting Line: The Accounts Payable Administrator will report directly to the Transactional Finance Manager.
Department Overview:
The Finance Department is responsible for the overall control and management of all financial aspects of the Company and its strategic objectives using ERP, maximising cost control and operational efficiencies within the Company’s risk profile, providing strategic and financial management and reporting, to ensure that the Company is able to meet its financial targets and projected commitments, with particular emphasis on the SiPF Programme and grants receivable.
The Role:
The Accounts Payable Administrator will be a point of contact for Accounts Payable function. They will be part of the team responsible for ensuring the departmental goals are achieved. This includes accurate and timely transactional finance and internal reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support to Accounts Payable Lead and Finance Team to:
- Maintain accounts payable records on company ERP system (Microsoft Business Central).
- Reconcile Supplier Statement.
- Complete bank reconciliations.
- Complete Credit Card Reconciliations.
- Support in supplier payments.
- Communicate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve issues.
- Use automated AP System to process invoices for multiple companies.
- Raise confidential purchase orders and track data trends where necessary.
- Fulfil ad-hoc duties.
- Attend team and 1-1 meetings and fulfil reporting requirements as required by ATL.
- Ensure compliance with ATL Policies and procedures.
- Build good working relationships across ATL.
- Contribute to shaping a culture that reflects ATL Values and Guiding Principles and enables the company to achieve its goals.
- Work closely with other departments on process improvements.
Person Specification
Required Education/Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 1-year Accounts Payable experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in ERP (Microsoft Business Central preferable).
- Experience in Automated AP (Continia preferable).
Desirable Experience:
- Commencement of IATI or equivalent.

- Strong Excel skills.
- Ability to work at a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to multi-task and be well organized.
Communication skills:
- Good report writing skills – clear, concise, and well structured.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.

- Ability to relate well to others, and build co-operative and collaborative working relationships, both internally and externally.

- Ability to coordinate with other departments and externally relating to flag issues.
- A focus on ‘delivery’ to an agreed schedule.
- Ability to complete a package of work under guidance and work independently
