What Youll Be Doing:
- Manage daily finance activities including AP, AR, credit control, bank reconciliations, and VAT submissions.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and liaise with external accountants.
- Take a proactive role in managing records and ensuring compliance.
What Were Looking For:
- 5 years experience in a similar role with substantial practical knowledge.
- Strong experience with accounting software.
- Possesses a natural talent for numbers and data analysis, with the ability to interpret financial data and help drive informed, strategic decisions.
- Excellent Excel skills and IT literacy (MS Outlook, Word etc).
- Ability to work independently, organise multiple projects, and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Well-honed problem-solving and communication skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Flexible, adaptable, and confident in engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Extras:
- Knowledge of international trade (FX, banking).
- Experience with dual jurisdiction VAT returns (GB & ROI) and inter-company trading.
- Background working in industrial or safety sectors is an advantage.
Salary:
Dependent on experience (DOE).
