Accounts Assistant | Permanent | Newtownabbey
Reed Accountancy & Finance are actively working with a successful client based in Newtownabbey and are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team.
This is a full time permanent role, office based and the hours of work are 8.30am to 4.30pm (flexible).
Reporting to the Management Accountant and working as part of a small team within finance, the Accounts Assistant will be responsible for the sales ledger and purchase ledger activity.
More specific duties will include:
Management of a small number of high value clients
Invoicing sales invoices
Credit control
Reconciliation of credit cards
Management of the purchase ledger function
Supplier statement reconciliation
Query resolution
Daily use of Sage 50 software & MS Excel
The Person:
Applicants will have previous experience with sales and purchase ledger, will be conversant with Sage 50 software and will work well as part of a small team.
Strong administration skills are essential together with a good working knowledge of MS Excel.
