Accounts Assistant
We are currently working with a repeat client in the local area who is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistantto join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join a successful, family run business and play a pivotal role within the business.
The Role
- Day to day bookkeeping for the business
- Balance and maintain accurate ledgers
- Completion of bank reconciliations
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Processing invoices and tracking account balances
- Assist the external accountant with year-end duties
- Monthly preparation for company payroll
- Credit control
- Other relevant ad-hoc duties
Experience
- A minimum 3 (+) years experience working within accounts and finance
- Experience in working in a busy office environment
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience in using Microsoft Excel
- A positive can-do attitude towards work
- Ability to manage and prioritise workload
