Are you an organised and detail-driven finance professional looking to grow your career in a dynamic environment? We’re seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant with payroll expertise to join a well-established construction firm and support the smooth running of the financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are received and properly recorded
- Follow up with customers on overdue accounts and resolve billing/payment discrepancies
- Reconcile customer accounts and prepare ageing reports
- Weekly and monthly payroll processes
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations
- Assist with purchase ledger tasks, including invoice entry and supplier communications
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven experience in a similar accounts or finance role
- Knowledge of payroll systems and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
