Salary: £30,000£33,000 per year

Role Overview
A care home in Glengormley is looking for an experienced Administrative & Accounts Assistant. Youll provide administrative, financial, and clerical support to ensure the smooth running of the home, acting as the first point of contact for residents, families, staff, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage reception, answer calls and emails, and greet visitors and residents professionally.
  • Provide administrative support to the Home Manager and care team.
  • Process invoices and payments, assist with monthly reconciliations, and support payroll preparation.
  • Prepare resident contracts, consent forms, and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Assist with staff administration, including recruitment support, rotas, and leave records.
  • Order and manage supplies, liaising with suppliers to maintain stock levels.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a care home, healthcare, or similar administrative role.
  • Basic understanding of accounting and payroll processes.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and confident with databases or care management systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach.
  • Strong organisation, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Warm, approachable, reliable, and flexible.
