Job Summary

Accounts Administrator- North Belfast- £27,000+ per annum

Reed Recruitment is delighted to be working with a longstanding public sector body based in the North Belfast Area.

Our client has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Accounts Administrator/ Clerical Officer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Offering a competitive salary of £27,000- £28,000 dependent on experience, the successful applicant will be required to undertake a mix of both clerical and financial duties.

Finance Responsibilities:

  • Receive, receipt and account for cash
  • Receive, sign and record deliveries
  • Petty cash management
  • Purchase ledger invoice processing
  • Prepare weekly payment run for Head of Finance & Corporate Services, file remittances and post supplier cheques
  • Reconcile invoices/credit notes to supplier statements
  • Communicate with suppliers and ensure up to date account information is maintained on finance system
  • Assisting with audit duties
  • Maintaining an up-to date filing system
  • Ordering stationary
  • Provide word processing, filing and photocopying in support of administrative processes
  • Sort, screen and distribute mail

Essential Experience:

  • 5 GCSEs including Maths and English Grades A*-C
  • 1 years’ experience working in a busy finance/ clerical role
  • IT Proficient
