An established engineering company with over 30 years of expertise in electronic control systems for heavy machinery is seeking an AC Design Engineer. This is a key role combining AC powertrain system designwithelectrical panel development, supporting projects from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and optimise AC powertrain systems, including motor control and integration.
• Perform simulations and analysis to improve system performance and efficiency.
• Design AC electrical panels, produce schematics, and specify components.
• Ensure designs meet safety and regulatory standards (e.g., IEC, NEC).
• Collaborate across engineering, production, and supply chain teams.
• Provide support for service, training, and technical documentation.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years experience in AC powertrain or electrical panel design.
• Strong knowledge of AC machines and power electronics.
• Proficient in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
