  • Plan, execute and support centrally driven JOP events.
  • Encourage customer loyalty by empowering the team to use Joy of Pret initiatives.
  • Strive to achieve a perfect Mystery Shopper score every week by coaching the team to see the shop through customers’ eyes.

Delicious food and drink:

  • Ensure the team consistently delivers delicious food by following the 6 Key Points of Production.
  • Always follow the 11-Step Production Process to guarantee customer safety.
  • Ensure the management team understands and follows the Production Principles putting customers’ needs first.
  • Ensure the shop food range matches customer demand.
  • Continuously develop the team’s knowledge about the quality of our food and coffee.
  • Ensure Barista Prepared Drinks are made by trained employees consistently, and to the highest standard.

  • Analyze stock take results and follow the 7 Steps of Unaccounted.

Growing sales:

  • Effectively benchmark against other high-performing shops to identify opportunities.
  • Review relevant reports to maximize opportunities to increase sales.
  • Follow merchandising guidelines and ensure effective marketing to drive sales.
  • Maximize and promote Marketplace opportunities.

DRIVE AND EMBED CHANGE:

  • Be the Ambassador of Change; communicate effectively with the team.
  • Promote Pret positively and escalate concerns as required.
  • Follow up on new standards or initiatives to ensure successful implementation.

  • Build a network with other GMs to share best practices.
