We currently have an opportunity for a Global Sales Director, Ecotec based at Campsie or Farlough, Dungannon site. (We would consider applicants based in the UK remotely)
About the Role
Reporting to the Business Line Director, the Sales position will develop new and service existing distribution for Terex Environmental Equipment, Arborist and biomass products. This position involves defining and implementing “go to market” strategies in assigned regions and industries.
The Global Sales Director will target each marketplace and identify/develop the best companies to sell and service Terex Environmental Equipment. This will include all aspects of field-based customer service including: distributor development, relationship development, problem solving, communication, territory management, and training and product demonstrations. The successful candidate will work within boundaries of all corporate policies, guidelines and in support of the Terex Way
What you’ll do:
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop new sales Distribution and Markets.
- Manage and advise on pricing strategies in target markets.
- Establish sales forecasts and secure sales orders according to goals.
- Control expenses per agreed upon budget.
- Educate customers on products, service, warranties, and technical support
- Communicate and train dealers and customers on the features and benefits of equipment.
- Receive feedback on existing products and services, as well as changes, enhancements and new products.
- Advise and define product strategies to meet target market requirements and define the product road map
- Stay knowledgeable of machine component advancements and competitor design trends; apply latest technology to new and existing designs where appropriate to stay current and innovative.
- Manage a team of regional sales managers across the globe.

What you’ll bring:
Experience & Qualifications:
- Degree educated or equivalent in Business or Engineering Discipline or equivalent work experience.
- 3 years of experience in construction equipment or material processing sales required.
- Ability to travel as noted above; valid driver’s license with good driving record required.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong business relationships.
- Basic understanding of Equipment purchase financing.
- Professional level knowledge of principles and practices involved in new business development, product marketing and sales.
- Ability to initiate sales contacts and complete sales contracts.
- Excellent human relations skills to prepare and deliver formal presentations to customers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to develop sales strategies.
- Proficient in MS Office, MS Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating activities with a variety of teams.
- Time and territory management practices must be exceptional.
- Previous sales experience specifically with recycling/waste/wood processing machinery strongly preferred.
- Experience of third-party distribution management preferred.

- A “Can do” attitude and ability to interact with a multi-functional team.
- Ability to work with others to meet deadlines.
- Able to assess workload and commit to realistic timelines.
- Able to select from multiple design alternatives when a clear best choice is not evident.
- Can identify risks both technical and commercial with proposed product change or new product
