Job Summary

General Manager eCommerce
Location: Mid-Ulster, Northern Ireland

Our Client has established one of their leading brands as an independent eCommerce business unit, and they are looking for a data-driven, commercially minded General Manager to lead it. Youll own all eCommerce operationsstrategy, finance, sales, marketing, UX, and supply chainwhile leading a small, high-performing team. Proven experience scaling a D2C eCommerce brand is essential.

What Youll Do

  • Lead and scale the D2C eCommerce business, driving traffic, conversion and revenue.
  • Develop and execute digital growth strategy across website, paid ads, SEO, content, email/SMS, affiliates and social.
  • Own the P&L, KPIs, forecasting and reporting to the Board.
  • Oversee inventory, fulfilment, courier partnerships and third-party logistics relationships.
  • Optimise website performance, UX and conversion.
  • Guide customer acquisition, retention and promotional strategy using data-led insights.
  • Ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement across all operations.

What You Bring

  • 57+ years eCommerce experience, ideally D2C.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Leadership experience with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of eCommerce platforms (Shopify/Magento/WooCommerce) and CRM tools.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools (Google Ads, Meta Ads, Klaviyo etc.).
  • Degree in Business/Marketing/Digital Commerce (Masters beneficial but not essential).
