Position Summary: As Front Office Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the front desk operations and supervising the team. The front office represents the heart of our organization, handling reservations, filtering guest requests and giving the very service to our guests. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities and requires a diverse set of skills including problem solving, high levels of organisation, teamwork and a strong desire to create unforgettable guest experiences.

Responsibilities include:

  • Staffing and Performance Monitoring of Front Office and Spa Staff

Team Motivation and Quality Control
Overseeing Front Desk Tasks
Reservations and Administration Management
Maximising Opportunities to increase guest dwell time and upsells
Payments Reconciliation and Cash Handling
Managing Guest Communications
Managing Guest Satisfaction, resolving guest complaints and issues appropriately
Inventory Management
Training and development
Preparing daily and weekly reports for the team

About you…

  • A minimum of 2 years experience working in a managerial role, preferably within front desk or reservations in a resort/hotel environment

A love of hospitality and a strong desire to elevate every guest experience
A degree in hospitality management is preferable
Extensive knowledge of front office operations and reservations
A proven track record in managing customer satisfaction, team engagement and financial performance.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Great computer skills and a general knowledge of troubleshooting
Excellent problem solving skills with a proactive mindset
Able to accommodate a flexible schedule to include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Passionate about nature, outdoor activities and the wilderness of the location
