Health And Safety Officer – Food Manufacturing
Salary: £32,000 – £38,000Dungannon
Are you a qualified Health and Safety professional with previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment and eager to progress a career in a stable industry as part of a friendly, family-run business?
As a Health & Safety Officer, you’ll play a key role in promoting a safe working environment as part of the company’s commitment to looking after it’s staff. You’ll be responsible for implementing H&S policies and procedures while ensuring regulations are adhered to and obligations are met.

You’ll be responsible for:
- Working with company leadership to implement H&S policies and procedures
- Ensuring standards, processes and regulations are adhered to
- Actively promoting a safe working culture, engaging with Production staff to provide training on best practice where appropriate
- Carrying out inspections, investigations, audits and Risk Assessments
- Reporting back to management and providing recommendations for any improvements
Ideal candidates will have:
- A NEBOSH General certificate
- 2+ years’ experience in a Health and Safety role
- Preferably a background in Food Manufacturing or another transferrable industry
