Your new role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentsManaging contracts and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirementsMonitoring project costs and advising on financial risks and opportunitiesLeading negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliersProviding mentorship and guidance to junior surveyors and support staffCollaborating closely with project managers and site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you should bring:A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related disciplineProven experience in a senior surveying role within the construction industryStrong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and cost managementExcellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skillsAbility to work independently while also contributing to a team environmentA proactive approach with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
