Part-Time Purchase Ledger Clerk
City Centre Office | 3 Days/Week | £30,500 (FTE), £18,300 (Pro Rata)
We’re seeking a meticulous and reliable Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a busy finance team in a Belfast City Centre technology company. This part-time opportunity is ideal for someone with solid accounts payable experience who values flexibility and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
Process supplier invoices and match to purchase orders and delivery notesCode and input invoices accurately into the accounting systemReconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepanciesPrepare supplier payments (BACS, CHAPS) in line with schedulesHandle supplier queries professionally and promptlyMaintain accurate records of invoices and paymentsAssist with month-end and year-end accruals and reportingComplete daily bank transactions and weekly bank reconciliationsSupport the wider finance team with ad-hoc duties
What You’ll Bring:
Proven experience in purchase ledger/accounts payableStrong numerical and data entry skillsSolid understanding of invoice processing and reconciliationProficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g. Sage)Excellent communication and time management skills
