Location: Moneyreagh
Salary: £37,440 per annum (pro rata for 4-day week)
Hours: Tuesday to Friday (optional)
Employment Type: Permanent, 4 days per week

They are a well-established, family-focused Day Care and After School Club located in the heart of Moneyreagh, providing a safe, stimulating, and caring environment where children can learn, play, and grow.
As they continue to thrive, they are now seeking a dedicated and motivated General Manager to lead their team and ensure the smooth running of their setting.
The Role
As General Manager, youll be responsible for the overall management and daily operations of the nursery and after school club. You will oversee the Deputy Manager and Assistants, ensuring that high standards of care, education, and safeguarding are consistently maintained.
This is a hands-on role youll spend time on the floor supporting the team, leading by example, and helping with general nursery duties as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the nursery and after school club on a day-to-day basis
- Supervise and support the Deputy Manager and Assistants
- Ensure compliance with all safeguarding, health & safety, and Early Years standards
- Act as the Designated Officer for Safeguarding
- Maintain excellent relationships with parents, children, and staff
- Manage staffing, rotas, and operational needs
- Support curriculum planning and ensure a nurturing, stimulating environment for all age groups
About You
To succeed in this role, youll be a confident leader with a passion for childcare and early years education.
Essential Requirements:
- Level 5 qualification in Childcare / Early Years / Leadership & Management (or equivalent)
- General management experience within a childcare or educational setting
- Designated Officer (Safeguarding) training
- Paediatric First Aid certification
- Flexible, proactive, and able to adapt to the needs of the setting
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- A genuine passion for supporting childrens development in a caring, fun environment
