MCS Group is partnering with a successful accountancy practice in Portadown to recruit a driven and ambitious Payroll Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional eager to join a well established firm and a chance to work with a diverse portfolio of clients.

The Role
You will have a wide range of duties, such as;
- Processing Payroll for a range of clients across a range of industries
- Weekly and monthly payroll processing
- Dealing with queries and exceptions
- Full end to end Payroll
- Wider supportive duties
The Person
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in computerised payroll processing.
- Strong knowledge of current payroll legislation and practical procedures.
- Accurate, detail-focused, with strong problem-solving and planning skills.
- Clear communicator with excellent customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience in an accountancy practice or payroll bureau and CIPP qualification are desirable.
