Location: Magherafelt
Salary: £20,000 £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time, office-based
Annual Leave: 31 days (including statutory holidays)

Were now looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our busy team and play a key role in delivering an accurate, efficient, and professional payroll service for our clients.
About the Role
As a Payroll Administrator, youll be part of our experienced payroll team, helping to manage end-to-end payroll processes for a variety of clients. Youll ensure everything runs smoothlyfrom processing payments to handling employee querieswhile maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls accurately and on schedule.

Maintain payroll records for client employees, including new starters, leavers, and changes.

Ensure compliance with HMRC legislation and Real Time Information (RTI) submissions.

Calculate and process statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, and holiday pay.

Assist with pension auto-enrolment and related submissions.

Reconcile payroll reports and deal promptly with payroll-related queries.

Support the Payroll Manager with continuous improvements to payroll systems and processes.

Assist with year-end procedures including P60s and P11Ds.
About You

Previous experience in payroll or finance administration (preferred).

Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Confident using Microsoft Excel and comfortable with payroll software (e.g. BrightPay, Sage, or similar).

Knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC processes.

A team player with great communication skills and a proactive attitude.
