CSA Site Manager – Battery Energy Storage Systems

A leading name in the renewable energy sector, is seeking an experienced CSA Site Manager to oversee civil, structural, and architectural works on a major Battery Energy Storage System project. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-profile initiative that supports the transition to a sustainable energy future.
What You’ll Do
- Lead day-to-day civil, structural, and architectural (CSA) works on a large-scale BESS project.
- Oversee groundworks, foundations, concrete structures, steel assemblies, architectural finishes, and external works to meet quality and schedule targets.
- Manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with drawings, technical requirements, and safety standards.
- Review construction drawings, identify clashes or gaps, and propose practical solutions.
- Track progress using digital site-management tools and maintain accurate logs and reports.
- Conduct toolbox talks, inspections, and EHS walk-downs to uphold safety and quality.
- Collaborate with MEP, commissioning, and electrical teams for smooth interface coordination.
- Attend site meetings, report progress, risks, and resource needs to the Project Manager.
- Support procurement and logistics planning for timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Lead snagging, rework, and handover preparation with QA/QC teams.
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years in site management or supervision on industrial, renewable energy, or data centre projects.
- Proven experience managing CSA packages (groundworks, concrete, steel, architectural finishes).
- Experience with BESS, power generation, or substation projects is a big plus.
- Strong knowledge of EHS, QA/QC, and document control on high-spec projects.
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and BIM models.
- Skilled in digital construction tools (Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, etc.).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- English fluency; additional European languages are a bonus.
- Willingness to travel or relocate within Europe for project duration.
- Must hold an Irish passport or work permit
