PW Trucks Ltd is seeking a reliable and hard-working Yard Operative to support our daily operations in a busy commercial vehicle environment. This role would suit someone who enjoys hands-on work and has a passion for trucks and machinery.
Main Duties:
- Collecting and delivering lorries to and from customers yards.
- Transporting lorries and trailers to PSV testing as required.
- Assisting with general yard duties, including vehicle movement, cleaning, and organisation.
- Providing mechanical assistance and supporting the workshop team when needed.
Requirements:
- Full HGV Licence (essential).
- Previous mechanical experience or basic mechanical knowledge.
- Good communication skills and a can-do attitude.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and manage tasks efficiently.
- Reliability and punctuality are a must.
