Job role: cook/chef

Location: Coleraine

Pay rate: £12.31 (enhanced rates for weekends)

Hours: 30 hours, 5 out of 7 days

Blue Arrow are recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic cook/chef to join a hospital catering team. This vital role where you’ll help provide nutritious, well-balanced meals to patients, staff, and visitors in a safe and hygienic environment.

Working hours would either be 7am to 13:30pm or 10am to 5pm.

Your responsibilities:

– Prepare and cook meals according to dietary requirements and menu plans

– Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.

– Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other departments.

– Assist with stock control, ordering, and kitchen cleanliness.

You will need:

– NVQ level 2 food preparation or equivalent

– Food Safety level 2

– Previous experience as a cook

Please note an enhanced Access NI will be required before starting this role.
