ABOUT THE ROLE

The Finance Manager – Group Reporting will lead the Group Reporting function and oversee the preparation of Eakin Healthcare’s consolidated financial results, management of G&A Reporting, Board and Executive reporting, and Companywide analytics . This role will manage the Group Management Accountant and play a key role in ensuring the integrity of group financial data, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving continuous improvement across reporting processes and systems.

A critical part of the role is ensuring excellence in accuracy and attention to detail in the consolidation of multiple entities and currencies, guaranteeing that group financial information is both timely and reliable.

The ideal candidate will be a meticulous finance professional with a relentless focus on accuracy and data integrity, ensuring the highest standards in multi-entity and multi-currency reporting. They will combine strong commercial acumen with excellent problem-solving skills and sound judgement, enabling them to provide insightful analysis and strategic support to senior leadership. Proactive and hands-on, they will thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, demonstrating resilience and adaptability. KEY ACTIVITIES

Group Consolidation & Reporting

  • Preparation of Group Board packs in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Preparation of Executive Leadership Team monthly report in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Management of the Group Budget and Forecast process, this includes building a timetable and ensuring it is executed on.
  • Preparation of Group wide analytics, this includes analytics on revenue, gross margin, opex, liquidity and ROCE.
  • Working collaboratively with Finance Managers – Group Accounting to manage the accurate and meticulous consolidation of multiple entity and multi-currency accounts, ensuring results are fully reconciled and compliant with accounting standards.
  • Ensure the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated management accounts, Executive Reporting and Board packs within tight deadlines.
  • Act as owner of the consolidation system (Anaplan) and lead enhancements to support forecasting and budgeting.
  • Support integration of acquisitions into group reporting, ensuring that new entities and currencies are incorporated seamlessly and accurately.

Management

  • Manage, mentor, and develop the Group Management Accountant and wider team to ensure high-quality group reporting and compliance with deadlines.
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, controls, and systems to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

Performance Analysis & Business Support

  • Support the finance team and business units with investment appraisals, variance analyses, and strategic planning activities.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reports as requested by the CFO and Directors.

General

  • Providing such other reports on the financial performance the Group as are requested by the CFO and Directors from time to time.
  • Undertake such professional training as is needed to perform at the highest standard.

KEY SKILLS

Essential

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA), ideally trained in a top 4 or large accountancy firm.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong technical knowledge of FRS 102 and/or IFRS.
  • Significant post-qualification experience in multi-entity, multi-currency group reporting, consolidation, and management accounting within a manufacturing or international environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a proven track record of delivering highly accurate consolidated financial statements.
  • Experience with planning and consolidation systems (e.g., Anaplan, Hyperion).
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities, with advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modelling.

  • Knowledge of UK company law and corporate governance.
