Total Care Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Band 2 Facility Support Worker based in The Laurels Day Centre, Newry.

Details:

Hours: 35 hours per week

Contract: Temporary until 31st January 2026 (Block Booking)

Location: The Laurels Day Centre, Newry

About the Role:

This is a key role within the Day Services team. The Facility Support Worker will:

Provide daily lunches to service users.

Carry out cleaning and IPC (Infection Prevention and Control) duties throughout the centre.

Assist in food hygiene and environmental cleanliness audits.

Help maintain standards in line with RQIA regulations and fire safety requirements.

Essential Criteria:

Experience carrying out domestic or catering duties in a paid role.

Awareness of food safety and allergens.
