Production Supervisor County Armagh
Salary: £38,000 – £45,000 (DOE)
Working Hours: 2.30pm 10.30pm
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Production Supervisor to join a leading food manufacturer during a pivotal period of growth. In this role, you will lead and motivate a high-performing production team, ensuring that safety, quality, and efficiency standards are consistently achieved.
The role:
- Oversee production processes to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards.
- Identify and resolve production issues quickly to maintain efficiency and minimise downtime.
- Train, mentor, and support team members to ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and operational standards.
- Take ownership of daily production targets, driving performance and maintaining consistent product quality.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with Quality, Maintenance, and Despatch teams to ensure smooth operations across all departments.
About you:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coach and motivate a team.
- Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
- Relevant Health & Safety qualification (e.g., IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent).
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high standards of food safety and product quality.
- Confident problem solver, capable of making decisions in a fast-paced production setting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot minor process or equipment issues.
