As a Banking & Finance Solicitor, you will play a key role in advising clients on a wide range of banking and finance matters. You will work closely with senior partners and clients to provide strategic legal advice, draft documentation, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include:
- Provide legal advice and support on banking and finance transactions
- Draft and review legal documents, including loan agreements, security documents, and financial contracts
- Conduct legal research and stay abreast of industry developments and regulatory changes
- Assist with due diligence processes and transaction negotiations
- Liaise with clients, external counsel, and regulatory authorities as necessary
- Collaborate with colleagues across different practice areas to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients
Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in banking and finance law, more experienced solicitors will be considered
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations and financial markets
- Experience in drafting and negotiating complex financial agreements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commercial awareness and ability to understand clients’ business needs
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
