Our client, a leading Insurance Broker, is seeking an experienced Commercial Claims Handler to join their growing Downpatrick team. The Role
As a Commercial Claims Handler, you will manage a portfolio of commercial claims from first notification through to settlement. You will provide expert guidance to clients, ensuring that claims are handled efficiently, fairly, and in line with regulatory and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a caseload of commercial property, liability, and motor claims from inception to closure
- Liaise with clients, insurers, loss adjusters, and other stakeholders to progress claims effectively
- Assess policy cover, gather evidence, and negotiate settlements where appropriate
- Deliver a high level of customer service throughout the claims process
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal processes and FCA regulations
About You
- Proven experience handling commercial insurance claims (property, liability, or motor)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
- A proactive and professional approach to client service
- Cert CII qualification (or progress towards) is desirable but not essential
