Our client a growing and successful business is currently looking to recruit for a Buyer to join their team.

The successful candidate will join a busy procurement team and be responsible for ensuring materials, parts and components required for production projects are sourced, procured and delivered on time in line with company requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and buying products required for the business
  • Monitoring market demand and supply for products
  • Negotiating prices and lead times with suppliers
  • Submitting procurement reports to management
  • Estimating future buying needs for the company
  • Developing and maintaining a buying database
  • Liaise with design and production departments on purchasing requirements
  • Checking and verifying all the required specifications of products

The successful candidate must have:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Negotiation Skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Analytical Ability
