The Role
- Plan and schedule daily transport operations for multiple depots and routes (NI and occasional ROI).
- Work collaboratively with other planners and operations teams to deliver efficient, cost-effective transport solutions.
- Adapt to changing priorities and ensure all runs are covered in line with service levels.
- Maintain full compliance with EU Tachograph Regulations, Working Time Directive (WTD), and company standards.
- Communicate clearly with drivers, depot staff, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
- Occasional travel required for training and operational meetings.
You Will Need
- Proven experience in Transport Planning within logistics, haulage, or distribution.
- Ability to plan effectively across multiple depots or routes.
- Strong knowledge of EU Tachograph Laws and WTD.
- Excellent geographical understanding of Northern Ireland and ROI.
- Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work either 11am-7pm or 5pm-1am, any 5 days out of 7 (including weekends).
