Hey! We’re growing our Inventory team, and are recruiting an Inventory Control Assistant to help keep our stock accurate, organised, and ready to get into customers’ homes. This is a hands-on role at the heart of our operations – perfect for someone who loves systems, process, and getting things done efficiently.
What you’ll actually be doing:
Keeping track of stock:
You’ll assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records across all storage locations. That includes checking and confirming warehouse stock approvals, reconciling purchase orders with received goods, and keeping our system reflecting reality.
Quality and accuracy:
Spotting faulty, damaged, or missing items will be part of your day-to-day. You’ll document issues, work with the design team, and help make sure everything we ship meets Kukoon’s high standards.
Counts and replenishment:
You’ll perform regular cycle counts, support full physical inventory audits, and assist with Kanban-based stock replenishment to ensure we always have what we need, when we need it.
Analysis and improvement:
You’ll support investigations into inventory variances, help find root causes, and contribute to practical process improvements that make our operations more efficient.
What you’ll bring to the table
Must-haves:
- Hands-on experience in inventory, stock control, or warehousing.
- Excellent attention to detail – you notice what others might miss.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and confidence with digital systems.
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with ERP, inventory, or warehouse management systems.
- Comfortable working across teams and supporting cross-functional projects.
- Full, clean driver’s licence.
